COCM’s 2021 Virtual Annual Meetings


Every year, the employees of COCM come together in January and February to connect, share best practices, and learn about the latest trends in student housing. It is a time of joy for us because our staff is spread out across the nation throughout the rest of the year – from Boston to California! This year will look a little different, so we talked to Scott Schatzer, Talent Recruitment and Wellness Coordinator about it:

What do the annual meetings mean to the company?

Each annual meeting is a time for all employee to come together devoting time for professional development and learning best practices in higher education, student housing while networking with other employees.

Why did COCM decided to go virtual? 

Due to current public health crisis, COCM wanted to leverage web-based video conferencing while continuing to provide this opportunity for employees to learn and network in a safe alternative setting.
