Um…uh…literally…

umI recently read a great blog post by Ben Decker of Decker Communications on cutting out the “filler” words in our verbal communication. I must caution you. Once you read this, you will be painfully aware of the filler words you frequently use. In fact, when I was discussing this article with my Capstone colleagues, I realized I had used ‘um” about 10 times!

After reading this, I was very interested in other communications articles by Decker, so we reached out to them about providing some additional blogs / videos on communication. They have graciously agreed to provide us with additional materials sometime in June. Can’t wait to share.

Um, in the meantime, um, enjoy, um, this article. I mean it, literally.
